Rep. Cliff Benze Congressional Floor Speech on Klamath Water Crisis – May 18, 2021
KREM News: Wildfire Projections – May 18, 2021
Oregon Dept of Agriculture forecast for June-August 2021. Many nice graphics here. Might want to skip to toward the end of the video to just get the final answer. It will be hotter and drier than normal. Especially in August.
1991-2000 Average of 170,000 acres per year
2001 – 2010 Average of 360,000 acres per year
2020 Acreage burned 680,000 acres
Maybe 2020 will not be representative of the 2011-2021 decade but the 170, 360, 680 trend is of concern
